Off the season track

While on holidays: ‘Tomorrow I will wake up early, I will put my towel on a sunbed in the first row and I will be the first one at breakfast to get scrambled eggs before they finish.’ Sounds familier? For many people travelling is possible only in the high season, for example, in summer months when schools are closed. But if you can choose why not to travel in a low season if it has so many benefits:
Prices are lower
In August you will pay a double (maybe a triple) price for a hotel room! If you dream about going to the magic, white-washed island of Santorini in Greece, check prices for August and for April.
Authentic experience
During the low season you can run into some festivals, you will see local people more relaxed, hospitable than in the high season.
Less crowds
You don't have to queue for tickets. You will have lots of sunbeds to choose from. Streets and monuments will be less crowded and you can take your instagram pictures without other people in the background.
Better service
The level of services is better compared to traveling in the peak seasons. The number of travelers is fewer compared to the available workforce and whether you are in an airport, hotel or on a tour, you can be sure that the services will be much better than in the peak season.
You can make the most of your time
Less time is wasted in moving between destinations. This enables you to plan your schedules ahead of time without fear of delays or interruptions. Also, there is less people on pedestrian walkways as well. You will not be surrounded by crowds trying to get holiday photos.
